Evacuation Plan was founded in Maastricht in 2016. They got together to perform Taejung Kim’s compositions, which required a versatile band due to influences from a broad variety of genres from modern jazz, reggae and Latin, to punk, rock, reggaeton, and hip-hop. The band has since opened for Antoine Pierre at the “Verviers Jazz Festival” and performed at the “Open Your Mind Festival”, “Intro In Situ” and the “CrossCurrents Festival”. They’re currently planning to release the first album “Difference Between Consciousness and Justification” in November 2018.

AHA is a newly formed trio, with a common passion for spontaneous explorations and strange melodies. Featuring an international line up, their original music focuses distinctly on freedom and uninhibited interaction.
After meeting only 2 months ago, Svoboda, Saragossi and Van der Heide were immediately drawn towards each other’s uniquely expressive playing styles, forming an uncommon level of kinship from their first musical collaboration. Van der Heide is largely melodic in his drumming, which compliments Svoboda’s punchy bass lines and Saragossi’s soloistic sensitivity. The result is a unified sound, drawing influence from musicians including Jim Black, Chris Speed, and Bela Bartok.
Andrew Saragossi – Tenor Saxophone – 27
Helen Svoboda – Contrabass – 24
Andre van der Heide – Drums – 24
Lampshade is a playground for Nico, Louise, and Arno, in which they are able to experiment and express. Formed from the band PLANT, in which all Lampshade members were active, jazz might be the common denominator for the band but they easily make a connection with electronic and rock music. This helps them create a unique and recognizable sound that speaks to lovers of jazz, electronic music rock, and anyone who loves a solid groove and has a sense of fun.
