What is the jazz audience ?

How many: Jazz as entertaining music reaches more than 70% of the total population. Jazz as concert music – and that is what Jazz Maastricht is about  – reaches 6%. 

What age: all ages, of whom 42.5% younger than 35. The percentage of young public increases annually, thanks to the new contempary jazz styles.

What segment: particularly higher educated people
Where: Festival audience is 80% Euro region (150 km around Maastricht), 20 % rest of Netherlands and abroad. Concert audience is 100% Euro region.

Who supports us and why ?
The activities of Jazz Maastricht consist of production, presentation (festivals and concerts) and education. They contribute to the cultural diversity and well being of society (social value), stimulate tourism and the quality of life (economic value). On this basis, local government administrations and cultural funds support us.
For the same reasons,  private individuals can decide to help Jazz Maastricht through donations and legacies.
The activities offer interesting products for companies as well. Via Jazz Maastricht they reach an interesting target group and can offer their public and relations something of high quality and entertaining value. If the terms ‘cross-border’  and ‘creative’ match with their identity, they will fit well with Jazz Maastricht.

* Master cocktail – 85,- euro (71.43 euro excl. VAT) – in Theatre.
   2 welcome drinks of the best Crémant, finger food with snacks and 3
   additional consumptions.
   1 CD ‘Maastricht City Without Limits’ with among others Toots Thielemans.

* Master – Dinner - € 185,- (€ 155,46 excl. VAT) – tasting in basement, dinner in veranda
   Thiessen. 2 welcome drinks Thiessen best Crémant, finger food and 3 additional
   consumptions in theater. 1 ‘Maastricht Culinair’ dinner, 1 exit ticket for parking garage
   (per two persons), 1 CD ‘Maastricht City Without Limits’ with among others Toots
   Thielemans, 1 ‘Enomatic Card’ for free wine tasting in the future, 1 Jazz Maastricht umbrella per    two persons, in case of rain during the short walk to the theatre.
Price in combination with Tefaf visit: € 220,- (184,87 excl VAT).
