Jazz Masters a short, powerful and exciting festival with 5 stages, where some of the best artists in the world meet creative talents from our  'Euro-region': an international area with Dutch, Belgian and German components. Great names, who have proven their reputation, are together with surprising, often unknown innovators. This has turned out to be a fascinating combination.

The main stage presents the winner of  4 Grammy  Awards  Dianne Reeves and Italy's best jazz pianist Enrico Pieranunzi. At the other stages you'll meet Leppinski 2, finalist of the famous Jazz Hoeilaart Competition 2011, considered asthe favorite by our programmers. Conservatory Maastricht will present an own production , Mistura de Cores, with vocalist Nadine Nix, percussionist Ron van Stratum, Ronald Snijders on flute, and jazz/pop students of the conservatory.

Justus van Uum is the winner of the Eujazz Young Talent Award 2011, the first international cultural award, granted by 6 Euroregional jazz organisations. Secret Swing Society brings an own and original version of music from the 30's and 40's. A team under direction of Marie van Vollenhoven presents a dialogue between jazz, plastic arts and computer art. 

The festival is known as refreshing and creative, and attracts an international  audience of all ages (over 40 % is younger than 35). This 10th edition is the epilogue of the ‘During TEFAF’ festival iin the Theater aan het Vrijthof.
