Jazz By Kids: more than a musical workshop…

“They made an improvisation of a green maze (art work) and they even sang an English song. That was really amazing, since they have not been taught English in school yet.”
“Because of this workshop, I know a lot more about jazz and blues. I’ve also learned a lot more about the story behind it and the instruments.”
“I play the drums and I was allowed to drum in the big band, together with Niek. I have met him there, we became friends during the workshop.”
“Before the performance I was pretty nervous. But when we were playing, I enjoyed it very much. I think it went well. Next year I will apply for the big band, because I really enjoyed it.”
